Right to Information

Many people around the world don't know what is right to information? It is a basic human right recognized in many countries around the world. In recent years this concept has flourished in many parts of the world. It basically means that the access of public documents is a right of citizens of a state.

It is a right given by the State to its citizens. It works as a tool to check transparency of system. It is a Government allowing people to account itself and its officials. That is helpful in checking whether the Government officials are performing in lines with their liabilities or not. Corrupt Government officials can be taken to task in the exercise of this Right.
