Relevancy of Confession in Law

This judgment addresses the concept of confession in the eyes of law. A legal maxim generally is most commonly used in this respect which says " Confession is the best evidence against the accused".

Pakistan Penal Code india n Penal Code, 1860), Ss. 380, 457, 461 and 109-Convictinn on basis of confessions made without any inducement or promise and recovery of booty only held justified. The confessions by themselves sufficient for the conviction of their makers, especiall y when corroboration in material particulars is forthcoming in the shape of recovery of a large part of the stolen property
